What If Running Your Business Actually Felt Manageable?

The Business Grew. The Clarity Didn’t.

You started this business because you're good at what you do. But somewhere along the way, running it became the hardest part. The decisions pile up, the direction gets foggy, and it feels like you're solving the same problems on repeat. It doesn't have to stay that way.

You’re Not Lost.
You Just Need a Better Map.

When you're too close to the problem, everything feels urgent and nothing feels clear. I help you step back, see the full picture, and identify what actually matters — so you stop spinning and start moving with clarity and intention.

Growth without a solid foundation is just chaos in a new direction. I help you develop the understanding, processes, and habits that make progress sustainable — so the next challenge doesn't knock you down or back.

Confidence isn't about having all the answers. It's about trusting yourself to find them. I help you develop the self-awareness and decision-making instincts that let you lead — even when the path forward isn't obvious.

Meet Scott Hindell
Business Model Editor

Most business owners don't need more advice. They need someone who understands both the strategy and the person behind it. That's what I do. Since 1998, I've worked with founders and operators to reshape how their businesses actually work — not with theory, but by breaking performance down into pieces you can control. I teach business and innovation at UCLA (for 25 years), lead strategy for startups at M Accelerator (for 10 years), and help business operators with established companies navigating the messy middle. I'm part confidant, part coach, part taskmaster — depending on what the moment calls for.

A Business Model Editor does what the name suggests — I help you edit how your business works. Not so much the product or the people, but the model underneath. The way decisions get made, the way value moves through the system, the way growth actually happens. I help you find the underlying simplicity in what looks complicated, then help you tighten things around it. Less guessing, more control, better outcomes.
